Lots of questions came out about this shot since it was selected as a DD and got some extra attention. Many thought this is a doctored shot, and that I pasted an image of myself up there, because it is insanity to stand up on the edge like this for some people.
Let me first give some credits to majed who captured this frame. He thought it’s lame to pose like this, and I can’t take the frame and be in it at the same time, so cheers buddy and thanks for the nice catch. We were up there for a bit more than four hours, and by the time we passed the second hour we just lost ourselves. For those of you who have been to the Samatai part of the Great Wall, you should know what I am talking about. We did not put much of efforts to come out with this shot, it was one of those on the fly shots as much as it looks like a heavily staged one. And for those of you who thought this is not real, I only used Photoshop for color/level/contrast adjustments but no manipulation. The great wall of China is the only man-made construction that you can see from space, and if you were there and saw it, and I wonder if you'd see this guy standing on it as well.
